Jung Yeon Lee





In 2001, while competing on the SBC Futures Tour, recorded nine top-10 finishes in 19 tournaments, including back-to-back wins at the Innerform Golf Challenge and Futures Golf Classic at Green Mountain National; finished third on the SBC Futures Tour money list to earn exempt status for the 2002 LPGA Tour season.

From 1998-2001, competed on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, where she won the 1999 SBS Championship.


As an amateur, Lee won the Sports Chosun Middle/High School Cup and finished third at the Korean Girls Amateur Championship and the College Association Choice Cup.


Started playing golf at the age of 14. . . Credits her father as the individual most influencing her career. . . Hobbies include collecting CDs and baseball hats, going to the movies and trying new perfume. . . After three attempts at the LPGA Qualifying Tournaments, qualified for the LPGA Tour by placing third on the 2001 SBC Futures Tour money list.
