As a member of the Florida State University golf team, Mills recorded
15 top-10 finishes in collegiate competition. at the 1987 U.S. Women’s
Open, Mills was the fourth lowest amateur. That same year, she posted
a fourth-place finish at the Doral Invitational. She was a semifinalist
at the 1988 Women’s Western Open.
Started playing golf at the age of 8. . . Credits her
father, Bob, who taught her how to play golf, and Bob Toski as the individuals
most influencing her career. . . Enjoys gardening, reading,
cooking, working out and watching football games. . . Qualified
for the Tour on her third attempt.
