Career Highlights

In 2000, posted a season-best finish of sixth place at the LPGA Corning Classic; tied for 18th at the du Maurier Classic, her best finish in a major championship.

In 1999, best finish was a tie for ninth at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship; recorded her first career hole-in-one during the first round of the New Albany Golf Classic.

In 1998, season-best finish was a tie for sixth at the Weetabix Women’s British Open.

In 1995, competed on the Golf Coast Tour.

In 1993-94, prior to joining the LPGA, competed on the Futures Tour.

In 1992, turned professional in August.


As a high school student, Spalding was the 1986 and 1987 Montana State Class AA High School champion. She went on to win the 1991-92 Montana State Women’s Amateur Championships. at the University of Alabama, she was the 1990 Neva McCall/Alabama Intercollegiate champion and the 1991 Women’s Southern Intercollegiate (WSIC) champion.


Started playing golf at the age of 13. . . Credits her parents, Paul Enright, Craig Shankland, George Winn, Betty Palmer and Todd Anderson as the individuals most influencing her career. . . Hobbies include reading, skiing, going to the mountains and spending time with her two Lhasa apso dogs.
