PLAYER NOTES
Just finished her senior year at USC.
2003: Quarterfinalist in the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links, losing
to Michelle Wie, 6 and 5.
FALL RESULTS:
Lucidi competed in three tournaments for USC this past fall ... She was
third on the squad with a stroke average of 76.0 ... She tied a Women
of Troy record for lowest round when she shot an eight-under 65 in the
first round of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational ... She went on to tie
for third at the Edean.
SUMMER OF 2002:
Lucidi had a remarkable summer, winning the 2002 U.S. Women's Amateur
.. She joined Jill McGill (1993) as the only USC women to win the Amateur
... As a result, she was named to the U.S. Women's World Amateur Squad
that went on to place fifth at the Women's World Amateur Championships
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this past October ... She led the American squad
by shooting 295 to tie for 15th.
2001-2002:
Lucidi made a huge impact in her first season at USC, finishing second
on the team with a stroke average of 74.17 ... For her efforts, she was
named to the All-Pac-10 first team and was an All-American honorable mention
selection ... She competed in all 12 of USC's tournaments and had five
top 10 finishes on the season ... Shot her best golf at the Stanford Women's
Invitational with a career-low 208 to tie for sixth ... Her highest finish
was at the SJSU Spartan Invitational, where she shot 217 to tie for fourth
... Tied for 19th at the Pac-10 Championships and tied for 15th at the
NCAA West Regionals ... Shot 296 to tie for 31st at the NCAA Championships.
2000-01:
Lucidi sat out in 2000-2001 after transferring from the University of
New Mexico.
UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO:
Lucidi led the Lobos as a sophomore in 1999-2000 with a stroke average
of 74.1 ... She was named a second-team All-American by the NGCA ... She
had a low round of 68 and notched four top 10 finishes, including a runner-up
finish at the Roadrunner Invitational ... Shot a career-low 217 at the
Arizona Invitational ... As a freshman, Lucidi was second on the team
with a stroke average of 77.5 ... Her best finish was a fifth place showing
at the Dick McGuire Invitational in her collegiate debut.
