Daughter of Terry and Kay Jackson... Cousin, Jeff Snipes, played football and coached at Furman... Intended major is business.
Jackson will remain an amateur through the U.S. Open, which she will play by virtue of her runner-up finish in the 2002 U.S. Amateur. After the Open, Jackson plans on playing five Futures Tour events and then attempting LPGA Qualifying School in the fall.

2002-03: In her senior season at Furman, Jackson posted a 74.13 season stroke average, which ranks third all time in Lady Paladin history behind Jen Hanna (73.63) and Kristel Mourgue d'Algue (73.70), and just ahead of Dottie Pepper (74.35). For her career, Jackson averaged 76.86 strokes per round, was named the 2003 Southern Conference Player of the Year and became the second Lady Paladin to win an NCAA Regional. . . .Recognized by the National Golf Coaches Association as second-team All-America, the first Furman athlete to be honored by the NGCA since 2001. . . also named All East Region due to first place finish at NCAA East Region Championships. . . season highlights include: 1st at NCAA East Regional at Salem Glen Country Club, 68-71-66=205. . . finished 3rd at Mason Rudolph Championship at Legends Club of Tennessee/Ironhorse, 74-73-73=220. . . finished t-2nd at Dodge ACC/SEC Shootout, 71-72-74=214. . . finished t-3rd at Lady Paladin Invitational, 73-72-71=216. . . 2nd at SCC Championship at Waynesville CC, 74-69-74. . .

2001-02: Finished junior year with second-best scoring average on the team, with a 75.71. . . best finishes include a first-place finish at Southern Conference Championship, with rounds of 70-72-72=214. . . 6th-place finish at Dodge ACC/SEC Shootout, 79-75-69=223. . . 10th at Bryan National Collegiate, 77-74-70=221. . .

2000-01: Played in every round of every tournament and was second on the team with a 78.3 stroke average... Recorded a season-low 72 in the first round of the Lady Paladin... Finished in the top 20 in three tournaments, including a fourth-place showing at the Southern Conference Championship... Named first-team All-Southern Conference and to the Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll... Placed seventh at the Lady Paladin Invitational with a season-low 220, three-round total.

1999-00: Played in every tournament, recording a season-low 73 at the NCAA Fall Preview in Sunriver, Oregon... After a first-round 80, rebounded to finish 34th at the NCAA East Regional with a 229 total... Posted a 79.4 stroke average for the season and had two top 30 finishes... Regular season-best three-round total was 236 on four occasions... Best finish was 14th at the Southern Conference Tournament.
