At 19 years old, Delasin won her first-ever LPGA tournament at the 2000 Giant Eagle LPGA Classic, making her the youngest winner in 25 years on the LPGA Tour.

Delasin tied for fourth at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 2000 season, qualiifying for the Tour on her first attempt. As an amateur, she captured the California Women's Championship and the U.S. Junior Girls Championship.

During the 2001 season Delasin recorded two victories -- she successfully defended her title at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic and won the Samsung World Championship.

She also recorded a total of six top-10 finishes, including a tie for fifth at the Standard Register PING, a tie for sixth at both the Evian Masters and Kathy Ireland Championship, and a tie for 10th at The Office Depot Hosted.
