Rosales made the LPGA Tour on her first attempt, finishing tied for seventh at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. She was a five-time champion of the Philippines Ladies Amateur Open. As a member of the USC women's golf team in 1998, she won the NCAA Championship and the Golf World Invitational.

During the 2001 season Rosales recorded a career-best finish at The Office Depot, where she tied for third. She also carded a season-low 68 in the first round of the Welch's/Circle K Championship, where she tied for 10th.
