CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
In 2000, lost a two-hole sudden-death playoff to Mi Hyun Kim at the Safeway LPGA Golf Championship to finish second, her career-best finish; carded a career-low 65 during the second round of the Michelob Light Classic.

AMATEUR RESULTS
Jang's golfing career began as a top-ranked amateur in Korea. She won the 1997 Korea Women's Open, 1998 Korea Women's Amateur and was a member of the 1998 Women's World Amateur Championship Team, where she placed fourth individually. Jang was also a member of the 1997-98 Korea Women's National Team.

PERSONAL
