Kim has 15 victories in Korea, five while attending university. She turned
pro in 1996 and as a member of the Korean LPGA recorded nine victories.

During the 2001 season Kim finished second three times. She lost to Annika
Sorenstam in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff at The Office Depot Hosted,
and also lost to Rosie Jones in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff at the
Kathy Ireland Championship.
