CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- In 2000, won three tournaments and finished second on the SBC Futures
Tour money list to earn exempt status for the LPGA Tour's 2001 season.
- In 1999, turned professional and competed on the SBC Futures Tour.
AMATEUR RESULTS
In six years as an amateur, Ellis won nine times and recorded 10 other
top-10 finishes. She was a two-time Australian Amateur champion (1997-98)
and finished fourth as the Australian representative at the 1998 World
Cup competition. Ellis was the number-one ranked amateur in Australia
in 1998.
PERSONAL
Started playing golf at the age of 13. . . Credits her family, the great
