| 2003 HIGHLIGHTS:
‘Lisl’ continued her consistent form of 2002 and produced her first and long overdue victory on the Ladies European Tour (LET)with a breathtaking finish at the Tenerife Ladies Open in May, fending off Welsh Amateur Becky Brewerton around the Las Americas GC. The following two tournaments in Italy and Portugal, she closed in second place and in Spain, finished fifth for her fourth top five finish in five events. Three more top-10s at the end of the season were proof positive that the bubbly and colourful German was more than capable of representing her continent in The Solheim Cup and at Barseback, she experienced pressure at the very top of the sport and claimed one and a half points to contribute to Europe’s amazing victory. Unsurprisingly, she closed at second place on the Order of Merit, only beaten by a rampant Sophie Gustafson, who won three times. But Lisl plans to play in Europe throughout 2004 and will be a likely contender for European number one if her game continues at this rate. |
| 2002 HIGHLIGHTS:
‘Lisl’ played in 13 events with remarkable consistency. Recorded six top tens with her best finish T3 at the Tenerife Ladies Open in horrendous conditions. Began the year with two T7s in Australia and lead the ANZ Masters heading into the final round. Also placed top ten at the P4 Norwegian Masters and the Wales WPGA Championship where she almost played her way into the 2002 Solheim Cup team (Finished in 9th place in the rankings after Hjorth and Tinning tied the final spot). Captain Dale Reid gave her the travelling alternate place in recognition of her consistency through the year and support of the LET and was the most vociferous European Team supporter during the week. Finished 12th on the OoM. |
| 2001 HIGHLIGHTS:
Played in all 15 events and the WPGA International Matchplay where she was knocked out in the third round to Carin Koch. Missed only three cuts in her best year to date as a professional with 7th place in the order of merit. Only a win is missing from Elisabeth̢̤̞s Tour career, having won in Morocco in the off season of 2000 and finishing 2001 with seven top tens including two second place finishes in Taiwan and South Africa. |
| 2000 HIGHLIGHTS:
Played all 15 events on the LET, making all but one of the cuts and achieving her highest ranking since joining the Tour in 1997. Best performance T3rd in the Waterford Crystal Ladies Irish Open. Also finished T4th in the Ladies Italian Open and achieved a further two top-10 placings. Finished joint fourth place on the number of birdies ranking, with 161 from 52 rounds. |
| PERSONAL:
Hobbies include skiing, cooking, shopping, music, fitness and her dog Arnold. Attached to Barringtons Vale do Lobo GC where her boyfriend, Graham, coaches her while not carrying the bag on Tour. |
