Best finish was a tie for sixth at the Sybase Big Apple Classic presented by Lincoln Mercury; also tied for eighth at the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic Presented by ALLTEL, where she carded a season-low 67 in the third round.

Gave birth to her second child, daughter Natalie MaKenna, on Feb. 20.

In 1998, played a limited schedule due to sciatica developed during her pregnancy; gave birth to first child, Nicholas, on Dec. 29.

In 1997, best finish of the season was fourth place at the Fieldcrest Cannon Classic, where she posted all four rounds in the 60s.
