Local Qualifying
L-1. All former winners of the U.S. Women's Open Championship.
L-2. All former winners of the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship. (must be an amateur)
L-3. All former winners of the LPGA Championship, the Women's British Open Championship, the Kraft Nabisco Championship and du Maurier Championship.
L-4. Winners of the U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship, the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship, the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur Championship for the last five years (1999 - 2003), and the runners-up of the most recent year who meet the handicap requirement (must be an amateur).
L-5. Winners of the USGA Senior Women's Amateur Championship for the last five years (1999 - 2003) who meet the handicap requirement (must be an amateur).
L-6. Winner of the Ladies' British Open Amateur Championship for the last three years (must be an amateur).
L-7. Quarterfinalists from the 2003 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship (must be an amateur).
L-8. Playing members of the United States Curtis Cup and United States Women's World Amateur teams for the past 10 years (1995 - 2004) (must be an amateur).
L-9. Winner of the 2004 individual NCAA Div. I Women's Golf Championship (must be an amateur). (NOTE: Blank entry will be filed by the USGA for player who becomes exempt after close of entries.)
L-10. Playing members of the United States and European Solheim Cup teams for the last ten years (1994 - 2003).
L-11. Winners of LPGA co-sponsored events, whose victories are considered official, from the conclusion of the 2000 U.S. Women's Open to the initiation of the 2003 U.S. Women's Open Championship.
L-12. Winners of the Futures Tour and Japan LPGA Tour whose victories are considered official, in the last calendar year and during the current year (2003 and 2004) through May 5 (must have filed an entry by May 5).
L-13. From the 2003 U.S. Women's Open Championship, those who qualified for the Championship proper.
L-14. From the 2004 Kraft Nabisco Championship and the 2003 LPGA Championship and Women's British Open Championship, the 30 lowest scorers and anyone tying for 30th place.
L-15. From the 2003 final official LPGA Tour money list, the top 90 money leaders and from the final official LPGA Tour money list, the leader in each of the last five calendar years; and any player who had multiple finishes in the top 90 money leaders in the last five calendar years.
L-16. From the 2004 LPGA Tour official money list, the top 100 money leaders through May 5 (must have filed an entry by May 5).
L-17. From the official LPGA Tour career money list, the top 50 money leaders as of the end of 2003.
L-18. From the 2003 final official Futures Tour money list, the top five money leaders.
L-19. Winners of the Ladies European Tour Order of Merit for the last five years.
L-20. Ladies European Tour Order of Merit Tournament winners from 2002, 2003, and 2004 through the close of entries on May 5 (must have filed an entry by May 5).
L-21. The top 50 from the 2003 Ladies European Tour final Order of Merit.
L-22. Winner of the 2003 LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Championship.
L-23. Any player whom the USGA Women's Committee selects for an exemption on the basis of her playing record (may be added to the field of 400 players but must have filed an entry by May 5).
