Cartwright won the 2000 USGA Women's Amateur Public Links Championship at The Legacy Golf Links in Aberdeen, N.C. From 1999-2000, she was a two-time winner of the Florida High School State Championship. Also in 1999, she was the runner-up at the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Polo Junior Classic and the Orange Bowl International Junior Golf Championship. . .Also competed in the U.S. Girls’ Junior. . .Turned pro after graduating from high school. . .Started playing golf at the age of 10 . . .Credits her father, whom she says has been by her side every step of the way, as the individual most influencing her career. . .Hobbies include reading, hanging out with friends and working with the Special Olympics.. .Was the youngest player on the LPGA Tour in 2002.
