Harvey was a member of the Saskatchewan junior golf team from 1977-80 and a member of the international team in 1980. She won the 1980 Saskatchewan Ladies Amateur and that year was ranked as Canada's 10th-best junior golfer. She was a member of the Saskatchewan ladies amateur team from 1981-84. In 1984, she placed eighth in the Canadian Amateur Championship and was ranked as Canada's sixth-leading woman amateur player. At Arizona State University, Harvey was a member of the second-place NCAA Championship team in 1984 and the third-place NCAA Championship team in 1985. . .Began playing golf at the age of 14...Credits Glen Harvey and Alex (Kozy) Kozakavich as the individuals most influencing her career...Enjoys walking, cooking and listening to music...A member of the LPGA Tour Executive Committee for the 2002-04 seasons, serving as vice president from 2003-04...Is an LPGA T&CP member.
