Amateur
Steinhauer’s junior career is topped by her three consecutive wins at the Wisconsin State Junior Championship from 1978-80. In 1983, she won the Women’s Trans-National. She played collegiate golf at the University of Texas where she claimed five victories and All-America honors in 1985. She also was named MVP in 1983 and 1985.
