Player Notes: This will be Chung's first U.S. Women's Open in her first attempt at qualifying...She landed her qualifying spot through a playoff in which she eagled the second hole to advance...She played in the 2003 U.S. Girls' Junior and the 2003 U.S. Women's Amateur...Most memorable golf experience was playing at the 2002 British Junior Open...Lowest competitive 18-hole score is 66 shot at South Shore, Las Vegas, Nev. ...At UNLV she won the Mountain West Conference Championship...Was named the 2006 Mountain West Conference Player of the Year and the 2006 Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year...Named 2006 First Team All-American...2004 was a member of the Korean National Team...As superstition she always puts a purse in her golf bag.
