Player Notes: Arseneault entered the University of Virginia as a 17-year-old this past January after graduating from the Pendleton School a semester early...was second in scoring average this past year for UVA...tied for first in sectional qualifying at Bloomfield, Mich. ...This is her first time qualifying for the U.S. Women's Open in only her second attempt...advanced to the third round of the 2004 U.S. Girls' Junior...played for Iowa in the State Women's Team Championship and placed fifth individually...her lowest round is 65 which she shot at the Iowa Women's Amateur in 2006...She is currently a two-time defending champion of the same event...Was named a Second Team Rolex Junior All-American in 2005 after receiving honorable mention accolades in 2004...was also a member of the West Canon Cup and Junior Solheim Cup teams...most memorable round of golf would be the first round of the 2004 Junior Girls' when she led the field...Hugh Royer III, her former coach and PGA Pro, will be her caddie.
