Amateur

Robbins was a 1988 quarterfinalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur and the TransNational. In 1990, she again was a quarterfinalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur and, in 1991, was the North-South champion and made the cut at the U.S. Women’s Open. Robbins played collegiate golf at the University of Tulsa, where she was a member of the NCAA Championship team in 1988. Throughout her college career, she won seven individual titles and twice was named a first-team All-American. In 1991, she was honored as the NCAA Co-Player of the Year along with Annika Sorenstam.

Started playing golf at the age of 8...Credits her parents Steve and Margie Robbins and former University of Tulsa women’s golf coach Dale McNamara as the individuals most influencing her career...Hobbies include fishing, swimming, tennis and basketball...Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt.
