Player Notes: Jang’s golf career began as a top-ranked amateur in Korea. She won the 1997 Korea Women’s Open, 1998 Korea Women’s Amateur and was a member of the 1998 Women's World Amateur Team Championship squad, where she placed fourth individually. Jang was also a member of the 1997-98 Korea Women’s National Team…Started playing golf at the age of 13…Credits her father as the individual most influencing her career…Has two siblings: Mikyung and Eunkyung…Enjoys skiing and playing Nintendo.
