Recorded four top-10 finishes, including a career-best second at the Wegmans LPGA after losing a two- hole, sudden-death playoff to Lorena Ochoa.

Also tied for fourth at the LPGA Corning Classic.

Carded a career-low 65 in the third round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, where she posted seven consecutive sub pars en route to a Tour season-low (par-34) 7-under 27 nine- hole score.

Recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one in the third round of the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta Presented by Televisa Deportes.

Kim enjoyed a successful amateur career. She was a member of the Korean National Team in 2003 and 2004. She won three tournaments on the International Junior Golf Tour and also competed on the American Junior Golf Association circuit, where she won the 2005 Hargray Junior Classic. Kim was the 2005 U.S. Girls’ Junior Champion champion and the medalist in the stroke stroke-play portion of the 2005 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship. Kim also earned medalist honors at the Duramed Futures Tour 2007 Qualifying Tournament.

Started playing golf at the age of 9. . . Credits her parents and Tiger Woods as the individuals most influencing her career. . . Hobbies include reading and listening to music. . . Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt.
