Transferred to Alabama from Furman prior to the 2007-2008 season..…Was an honorable mention All-American after finishing tied for 20th at the 2008 NCAA Division I Women’s Championship despite a broken finger…Was a SEC First-Team honoree… Broke the single season scoring average previously held by Alabama All-American Jenny Suh with a mark of 73.30…Set an individual Alabama tournament record with a 54-hole score of 203 (-13) at the Crimson Tide Classic to win the event; also set the Alabama single round record with a score of 65 (-7) at the Classic…While at Furman Ekey was on the 2006 and 2007 Southern Conference first team, 2006 Southern Conference Freshman of the year, 2007 team MVP and 2007 NGCA All-East Region team member…2004 Ohio state individual champion…is an avid hockey sister.
