Carded a season-low 66 during the first round of the Safeway Classic Presented by Pepsi and final round of the State Farm Classic.

Became the second player (Tammie Green, 1998) in history to compete for the U.S. Solheim Cup tTeam while pregnant and scored one point for the victorious U.S. Team when she defeated Iben Tinning, who was also pregnant at the time, 6&5 in the Sunday singles matches; Diaz is now the only player with a 3-0 record in singles competition.

She played collegiate golf at Wake Forest, where she was the 1995 ACC champion, a first-team All-American from 1996-97 and was the 1997 Female Athlete of the Year.
