Carded a season-low 67 on six occasions: final round of the Safeway International, where she finished seventh; first and second rounds of the Wendy’s Championship for Children, where she finished eighth; second round of the Sybase Classic, where she tied for eighth; third round of the Weetabix Women’s British Open, where she tied for 11th; and the second round of the Longs Drugs Challenge.

Was a member of the victorious U.S. Solheim Cup Team.

Finished third at the Samsung World Championship.

Posted 10 top-10 finishes, including five-in-a-row in late July, early August.

Crossed the $3 million mark in career earnings following the CISCO World Ladies Match Play Championship, where she tied for fifth.

Qualified for her second Solheim Cup, which was contested near her home in Edina, Minn., near her home, and posted a 1-1-1 record for the victorious U.S. Team; partnered with Meg Mallon in the four-ball competition on the first day and tied The Solheim Cup record for most birdies made by an individual in a four-ball session with seven; Mallon/Redman together set a new record for most birdies by a four-ball team in one session with 10.

In 2000, captured her second career win at the First Union Betsy King Classic with all three rounds in the 60s (68-66-68); her win came in the second-to-last tournament in which players could earn Solheim Cup points, helping her to become one of three "rookies" to qualify for the U.S. Team.

Amateur Highlights

Redman was the 1983 Ohio State Junior champion. In 1986, she was a quarterfinalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur and finished as the second-low amateur at the U.S. Women’s Open. She played collegiate golf at Indiana University, where she won four college tournaments, twice was named an All-American and four times earned All-Big Ten Conference honors. In addition, she was the Big Ten Conference champion in 1987.
