Parking Information

Traveling By Car

Public parking will be provided free of charge throughout the week in the Southdale Center corridor in Edina.  This area can be accessed off both Hwy 494 and Hwy 62 using France Avenue and Valley View Road.

There is no parking for the U.S. Women’s Open at Interlachen Country Club.  In addition, parking on streets surrounding Interlachen Country Club is strictly prohibited and violators will be towed immediately.


Southdale Center is located in Edina, MN at the corner of West 66th Street and France Avenue South in Hennepin County.  The site is bounded by West 66th Street to the north, West 69th Street to the south, York Avenue to the east, and France Avenue to the west.  France Avenue is a key north/south artery serving the Minneapolis metropolitan area, while West 66th Street is a major east/west arterial.  To view a map, click here.

ADA Parking

The USGA is pleased to provide the following services to our spectators with disabilities: 

   •   Accessible parking spaces will be available at the Southdale Center parking area.

   •   Wheelchair accessible vehicles will be available to transport spectators with disabilities to and from the course.   

   •   Please read about additional services for spectators with disabilities under Disabled Services in the General Information section of this Spectator Guide.

Public Parking Shuttle Schedule:

Shuttles will operate beginning at 6:00 a.m. until approximately 1 1/2 hours after play has concluded.


Public Transportation: 
Metro Transit bus lines #12 and #664 provide walk-in access to the championship.  Take these lines to the Methodist Hospital bus stop and follow the sidewalk signs to the main entry of the championship.  Schedules for Metro Transit are available at www.metrotransit.org.

Public transportation can also be taken to the Southdale Center.  Once at the Southdale Center, spectators can ride the championship shuttles free of charge to the U.S. Women’s Open.  For information about Metro Transit and routes to the Southdale Center, visit www.metrotransit.org.


Bicycle parking will be located in two locations.  Bicycle racks will be located at championship gates located at Interlachen Boulevard and Blake Road and at Interlachen Boulevard and Bywood West.  The Greenway Bicycle Trail can be used to access the championship.  Riders using this mode of transportation should exit the trail at Excelsior Blvd. and the Depot Coffee House and follow to Blake Road.  This stop is located on the east side of Highway 169.

Drop Off Lot:

Spectators can be dropped off at the championship in the Southdale Center parking area.
