Mrs. Zaharias came back to win her second Championship at the Rolling Hills Country Club, Wichita, Kans. In the process she matched Miss Suggs' score of 291.

The runner-up was an amateur, Miss Betsy Rawls, of Austin, Texas, who scored 300.

The purse was $5,000.
