2005 Highlights
Won her first careerprofessional LPGA event at the U.S. Women’s Open conducted by the USGA, holing a wedge shot from the greenside bunker on the final hole to become the 14th player in LPGA history to make the U.S. Women’s Open her first career win.
Carded a career-low 65 in the opening round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic Presented by Kroger, where she tied for 29th.
Tied for seventh at the Chick-fil-A Charity Championship hosted by Nancy Lopez.

In 2001, joined the Futures Tour and won the Chumash Casino Futures Classic and the Southwestern Bell Futures Classic.
Amateur Highlights
Kim was the silver medalist at the 1998 Asian Games. She was the 1998-99 Korea Junior Championship winner and from 1998-2000 was a member of the Korean National Team. She won a total of 19 tournaments in Korea as an amateur.
