Recorded a season-best runner-up finish at the Evian Masters, where she lost in a one-hole, sudden-death playoff to Natalie Gulbis.

Posted eight additional top-10 finishes, including back-to-back ties for third at the Samsung World Championship and the Hana Bank KOLON Championship; also finished tied for third at the Safeway International Presented by Coca-Cola.

Tied for fifth at the Wegmans LPGA, tied for sixth at the CN Canadian Women’s Open and finished sixth at the LPGA State Farm Classic, where she carded a season-low 65 in the final round.

Crossed the $4 million mark in career earnings at the Fields Open in Hawaii and the $5 million mark at the Honda LPGA Thailand 2007, where she also crossed the $1 million mark in single-season earnings for the third consecutive year.

Led the Tour with 331 birdies during the season; also ranked second on Tour with 54.8 percent of her rounds under par.

Carded season-low 65s in the final rounds of both the LPGA Takefuji Classic and ShopRite LPGA Classic.

Amateur Highlights

Jang’s golfing career began as a top-ranked amateur in Korea. She won the 1997 Korea Women’s Open, 1998 Korea Women’s Amateur and was a member of the 1998 Women's World Amateur Championship Team, where she placed fourth individually. Jang was also a member of the 1997-98 Korea Women’s National Team.
