Started playing golf at the age of 11. Credits her family as the individuals most influencing her career. Competed as Ju-Yun Kim in 2004. Married Bai Kyu Lee on Dec. 15, 2007. Kim was the silver medalist at the 1998 Asian Games. She was the 1998-99 Korea Junior Championship winner and from 1998-2000 was a member of the Korean National Team. She won a total of 19 tournaments in Korea as an amateur. Won the 2005 U.S. Women’s Open, holing a bunker shot on the 72nd hole for the victory.

* In 2008 best finish was a tie for 14th at the HSBC Women’s Champions. Carded season-low 69 in the first round of both the Fields Open in Hawaii, where she tied for 15th, the Safeway International presented by Coca-Cola, as well as the second round of the LPGA State Farm Classic.

* In 2007, recorded two top-10 finishes, including second at The Mitchell Company LPGA Tournament of Champions, where she crossed the $1 million mark in career earnings; tied her career-low 65 in the opening round of the Michelob ULTRA Open at Kingsmill.

* In 2006, best finish was a tie for 19th at the Safeway International presented by Coca-Cola.

* In 2005, won her first career event at the U.S. Women’s Open, holing a wedge shot from the greenside bunker on the final hole to become the 14th player in LPGA history to make the U.S. Women’s Open her first career win; carded a career-low 65 in the opening round of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic presented by Kroger, where she tied for 29th.

* In 2004, returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for 12th to retain exempt status for the 2005 LPGA season.

* In 2003, finished fourth on the Futures Tour money list to earn exempt status for the 2004 LPGA season; competed on the Futures Tour and won the Bank of Ann Arbor Futures Classic; tied for seventh at the Korean Women’s Open Championship.

* In 2001, joined the Futures Tour and won the Chumash Casino Futures Classic and the Southwestern Bell Futures Classic.
