Made it into the Rockville, Md., sectional as an alternate, shot rounds of 68-76-144 and earned the final spot after making back-to-back pars in a playoff. Qualified for match play at the 2009 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship. In 2009, played in the LPGA’s State Farm Classic and the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Captured titles at the 2009 Dixie Amateur and the 2009 Harder Hall Invitational. Had two runner-up finishes in the 2008-2009 season while playing for Auburn at the Mason Rudolph Championship and the Central District Invitational. Tied for eighth at the 2009 NCAA Division I East Regional. Qualified for match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links Championship in 2007. Made the cut and tied for 78th at the 2008 CN Canadian Women’s Open. Advanced to the second round of match play at the U.S. Women’s Amateur in 2007 and 2008. Monday qualified for the LPGA’s 2006 Florida’s Natural Charity Championship and made the cut, tying for 75th. Earned medalist honors at the 2006 Alabama Women’s Amateur. Was the low individual scorer at the 2005 USGA Women’s State Team Championship (6-under 213), helping Alabama to a runner-up finish. In 2009, named the Southeastern Conference Golfer of the Year, first-team All-SEC honoree and a first-team All-American selection by the NGCA and GolfWeek. A second-team All-SEC selection in 2007 and 2008. Also named the 2007 SEC Freshman of the Year. An AJGA Rolex All-American selection in 2005 and 2006. Her sister, Abigale, is a former member of the Auburn women’s golf team and reached match play at the 2005 U.S. Women’s Amateur. Will have her father, David, caddie for her at the U.S. Women’s Open.
