Started playing golf at the age of 15 with a set of aluminum-shafted PGA Contessas that her uncle bought at a tag sale. Started taking lessons in college from her husband Raymond Howell. Graduated cum laude from Yale University. Also attended Oxford University in England in 1990. Was the head coach for the women’s golf team at Yale University from 1997-2000 and was assistant coach through 2003. A member of the LPGA Player Executive Committee from 2003-06, serving as president for the 2005-06 seasons. Gave birth to daughter Hannah Daly Howell in 2006. Hobbies include trying new recipes, gardening, spending time with my family and nature-walking with her daughter. Has three sisters, a brother, five nephews and a niece. Qualified for the Tour on her fifth attempt. Daly-Donofrio captured two Connecticut Women’s Golf Association Championships (1992-93). She participated in the 1993 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and was a member of the Yale University golf team for four years.

* In 2004, won The Mitchell Company Tournament of Champions, where she carded a career-low 64 during the third round; recorded her first LPGA career hole-in-one during the second round of the Kellogg-Keebler Classic.
* In 2003, recorded a season-best finish - at the Longs Drugs Challenge, where she tied for 23rd.
* In 2002, tied for seventh at both the Welch’s/Circle K Championship and The Office Depot Championship Hosted by Amy Alcott.
* In 2001, became a Rolex First-Time Winner at the First Union Betsy King Classic.
* In 2000, tied for sixth at the State Farm Rail Classic; returned to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, where she tied for ninth to earn exempt status for the 2001 LPGA season.
* In 1999, tied for 14th at the Philips Invitational Honoring Harvey Penick.
* In 1998, best finish was a tie for fifth at the Friendly’s Classic.
* In 1997, qualified for the Tour on her fifth attempt, tying for fifth at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn exempt status for the 1997 LPGA season.
