In 2009, won the North Carolina Women’s Amateur and the Carolinas Golf Association’s Vicki DiSantis Junior Girls’ Championship. Tied for second at the North and South Junior Championship in 2009. Has captured numerous titles on the Peggy Kirk Bell Girls Golf Tour. Helped Athens Drive High School win the 2008 NCHSAA 4-A girls golf state championship, finishing eighth individually. Named a North Carolina All-State Girl’s Junior team selection by the Tarheel Youth Golf Association. Will have three close friends, who supported her at sectionals, and their families on hand cheering her on at the U.S. Women’s Open. Kevin Hamski, head golf professional at Lochmere Golf Club, will caddie for her at the Open.
