Started playing golf at the age of 11. Credits Sam Carmichael as the individual most influencing her career. Enjoys boating and snowmobiling. Has one daughter, McKenna. Inducted into the National Golf Coaches Association Players Hall of Fame on Jan. 10, 2006. Qualified for the Tour on her fourth attempt. Redman was the 1983 Ohio State Junior Girls champion. In 1986, she was a quarterfinalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship and finished as the second-low amateur at the U.S. Women’s Open. She played collegiate golf at Indiana University, where she won four tournaments, twice was named an All-American and four times earned All-Big Ten Conference honors. In addition, she was the Big Ten Conference champion in 1987.
