Started playing golf at the age of seven. Credits her family and golf coach Jonathon Yarwood as the individuals most influencing her career. Naree and Aree Song are the first set of twins to compete on the LPGA Tour. Is a Korean citizen. Qualified for the Tour on her first attempt., playing on the LPGA between 2005 and 2007. Twin Sister Aree, plays on the LPGA Tour. 1999-2001. She played in the Kraft Nabisco Championship from 2000-03 as a sponsor’s exemption, making the cut twice and tying for 58th each time. Song played in the 2000 and 2003 U.S. Women’s Open and garnered low amateur honors in 2000 when she tied for 40th. She played in 12 LPGA events as an amateur and made five cuts, posting her best finish - at the 2002 Wegmans Rochester International, where she tied for 29th. Song was an American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) All-American from 1999-2000. In 2001, she won the Kosaido Thailand Ladies Open, a professional event on the Asian circuit. In 2002, she became the youngest winner of the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur, placed third at the Harder Hall Women’s Invitational and tied for fifth individually at the Women’s World Amateur Team Championships in Malaysia, where she helped the Thailand team to their second-place finish. In 2003, she finished second to her twin sister Aree at the Harder Hall Invitational and the South Atlantic Women’s Amateur. Song also placed second at the 2004 Harder Hall Invitational. While a freshman at the University of Florida, she notched three top-10 finishes.
