Started playing golf at the age of 11. Credits her parents, her college coaches and her golfing friends as the individuals most influencing her career. Sheridan won the Women’s Western Amateur Championship in 2004 and then won the NCAA Central Regional Championship in 2005. In 2006, she took first place at the Mexican Amateur Championship in January and finished as the low amateur at the LPGA’s MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta (T27).
* In 2008, competed in 16 events on the Duramed FUTURES Tour and recorded five top-10 finishes, including a runner-up finish at the Greater Richmond Duramed FUTURES Classic. Also tied for second at the El Paso Golf Classic and finished the year ninth on the Duramed FUTURES Tour season-ending money list to earn Priority List Category 17 for the 2009 LPGA season.
