USGA Announces On-Site Fan Experiences for 79th U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally

USGA Announces On-Site Fan Experiences for 79th U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally

The USGA today announced this year’s on-site fan experiences at the 79th U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally. The championship will be contested May 28-June 2 at Lancaster (Pa.) Country Club. 
 
“The U.S. Women’s Open offers the best golfers in the world an opportunity to achieve their dreams on the grandest stages in the game,” said Jon Podany, chief commercial officer of the USGA. “With the support of our tremendous partners, fans who are on-site at Lancaster will enjoy memorable and inspiring experiences that bring them closer to the action than ever before.” 
 
From May 28-June 2, fans onsite can enjoy: 
 
USGA Championship Merchandise Shopping
 
Fans can commemorate the championship with the purchase of one-on-a-kind official U.S. Women’s Open merchandise:  Located in the club parking lot, the Merchandise Pavilion will be near the main entrance. Shoppers will be able to choose from over 25 different brands including Peter Millar, G/FORE, Adidas, Vineyard Vines, Imperial and more.   
 
All locations will be open from 7 a.m. until 30 minutes after play concludes each day.
 
Ally Savings Bucket Challenge 
 
Located within the Main Entrance, the Ally Savings Bucket Challenge gives fans an opportunity to put their putting and skee-ball skills to the test with a unique and immersive activation experience. Fans will have a chance to win major USGA prizes and learn more about Savings Buckets with Ally, the Presenting Partner of the U.S. Women’s Open and Official Bank of the USGA. 
 
Interactive Map Powered by Cisco 
   
The Interactive Map powered by Cisco will make it easy for fans to navigate Lancaster Country Club and have a memorable championship experience on-site. Available on iOS and Android, the map serves as an all-in-one destination for fans to locate their favorite players on course, see which group is upcoming on any hole, and find grandstands, concessions, and other amenities throughout the venue. 
 
U.S. Women’s Open Trophy Experience Hosted by Lexus
 
Located in Fan Central near the USGA Experience, the Trophy Experience Hosted by Lexus provides fans with the opportunity to take their photo with the U.S. Women’s Open Trophy. Additionally, fans will be able to engage with the all-new GX 550 and the always captivating LC Convertible. 
 
Amex® Fan Stop 
 
All fans are welcome to visit the Amex Fan Stop tent located in the Fan Oasis near the main entrance to pick up a friendship bracelet or grab a reusable water bottle, while supplies last. Limit one of each per person per Championship. Terms apply. 
 
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Wellness Pavilion
 
Located by the Main Entrance, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health will be staffing the Wellness Pavilion with fun, fan-engaging activities including a wellness and health knowledge test putting challenge. The Wellness Pavilion will also feature a local artist who will be using her talents to create a one-of-a-kind piece that captures the essence of Lancaster, women in sports and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s mission. Fans will have the opportunity to inspire the creation of an interactive mural that will be displayed at Women and Babies Hospital once it is complete. 
 
On-Site Safety by Penn Medicine 
 
As the Official Health & Wellness Service Provider of the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open, Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s medical team will be onsite throughout the championship to treat any illnesses and injuries that may occur. The two fully stocked and staffed medical tents will function as a hybrid urgent care/family medicine office, complete with temperature control, running water, private exam rooms and a full complement of medical equipment and supplies. Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health’s EMS Medical Director will also be on site with the physician response vehicle, Penn Med 1. 
 
USGA & Museum Experience  
 
The USGA Experience is designed to give fans an immersive look at the USGA’s efforts to unify, showcase, govern and advance the game. One side of the tent features an interactive exhibit by the USGA Golf Museum and Library celebrating the USGA's 1000th championship. It will include artifacts from the game's legends, hands-on activities, replica World Golf Hall of Fame lockers with items from Tiger Woods and Annika Sorenstam, as well as a display dedicated to In Gee Chun's victory in the 2015 U.S. Women's Open at Lancaster C.C. The adjoining space has several interactive activities for fans, including a “What Would You Shoot?” experience, in which users can enter their Handicap Index® or average score and learn what their Course Handicap™ would be from the championship tees at Lancaster. Additionally, there is a Rules of Golf quiz, USGA championship information and a chance for fans to test their putting skills. 
 
Junior Experience Featuring LPGA*USGA Girls Golf 
 
Located in the USGA & Museum Experience, the Junior Experience offers activities for kids of all ages, including arts and crafts, putting, and an exercise station. A nine-hole Junior Scavenger Hunt is also available for young fans, and once completed, scorecards can be returned to the merchandise tent for a prize. The Junior Experience will be open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on all days of the championship.  
 
Fans ages 17 and under receive complimentary admission any day of the event with a ticketed or credentialed adult. A maximum of four (4) juniors can enter per adult. Additionally, an Autograph Zone and Selfie Zone located near the practice putting green are designated for juniors to interact with players after they have completed their rounds. 
 
Enhanced On-Site Digital Displays 

Fans can expect an increase in the number of digital displays and enhanced video programming across the championship grounds. With the inclusion of ShotLink, there will be additional on-course displays that focus on scoring, leaderboards and other advanced data points that showcase the play of the world’s best players. In general areas, such as Fan Central, fans can enjoy the championship broadcast and other programming alongside messaging and scoring updates to ensure they are always in the loop on what is happening inside the ropes. At the Practice Range, fans can enjoy a digital display that showcases TopTracer technology as it tracks shots during each player’s practice routine, bringing a data-rich display and tracing for each shot as players fine-tune their games in real time.
