S-5: Winner of 2025 U.S. Girls' Junior

The Canadian phenom earned her first U.S. Women's Open start by capturing the 2025 U.S.  Girls' Junior at the Atlanta Athletic Club (Riverside Course) last July. Deng defeated Xingtong Chen, of Singapore, 2 and 1, in the 36-hole final. Deng posted two other major junior victories in 2025: the Mizuho Americas Open and the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley. In 2024, she claimed the The Nelly Invitational and was the runner-up individually in the World Girls Junior Championship. She also won the 2024 New Jersey Girls Junior title.
