The Potomoc, Md., resident and first-year member of the U.S. National Junior Team, posted a 5-under-par 139 to share medalist honors at Meadowbrook Country Club, in St. Louis, Mo., on April 28. Cusack, who will compete in her first U.S. Women's Open, is a two-time Rolex American Junior Golf Association All-American who has signed to play at the University of Virginia this fall. She was the runner-up in the 2025 Girl's Junior PGA Championship, which earned her a spot on the victorious Junior Ryder Cup Team last fall. Cusack is a two-time Maryland Girls' Junior champion (2024 and 2025) as well as a runner-up in the 2024 North & South Girls Junior at Pinehurst. She won a pair of AJGA titles in 2025 and the 2024 Justin Thomas Junior Championship in 2024. Just prior to qualifying for the U.S. Women's Open, she helped the U.S. National Junior Team defeat Sweden in a two-day friendly match held at The Vaquero Club outside of Dallas.
