The former University of Alabama standout and native Texan will make her fifth consecutive U.S. Women's Open start thanks to finishing among the top 30 points leaders in the LPGA Tour's Race to the CME Globe in 2023. The three-time first-team All-American and 2017 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year owns one professional victory: the 2019 Volunteers of America Classic in her native Texas. Knight, the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Freshman of the Year in 2015-16, carded a final-round 66 to beat Jaye Marie Green and Brittany Altomare by two strokes. Knight was a member of the 2023 U.S. Solheim Cup Team.
