Road to Lancaster

Qualifier: Shot 64-67--131 at Haworth (N.J.) Country Club on May 13

Bio

Masson earned her 11th U.S. Women's Open start by posting 13-under-par 131 to earn medalist honors at the Haworth (N.J.) Country Club qualifier. The native of Germany and four-time Solheim Cup competitor owns two career victories, including the 2016 Manulife LPGA Classic. She also won the 2012 South Africa Women's Open. Prior to turning professional, Masson played one season at Oklahoma State in 2008-09. She represented Germany in the 2006 and 2008 Women's World Amateur Team Championships, and Europe in the 2005 and 2007 Junior Solheim Cup. Masson is married to Jason McDede, the longtime caddie for world No. 1 Nelly Korda. The couple welcomed their first child in 2023, Benton David McDede.
