Fassi will make her sixth U.S. Women's Open start being a late add to the field as the first alternate from the Westminster, Colo., qualifying site. The long-hitting Fassi, a former All-American at the University of Arkansas, owns one professional victory. That came in 2020 on the Women's All-Pro Tour. (Cooper Communities NWA Classic). In 2019, Fassi won the NCAA Division I title a few weeks after capturing the Southeastern Conference championship. Earlier that spring, she was the runner-up to Jennifer Kupcho in the inaugural Augusta National Women's Amateur. She also is a three-time winner of the Mexican Women's Amateur, and represented her country in the 2016 and 2018 Women's World Amateur Team Championship.
