Bio

Liu appears to like Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria, Va. For the second consecutive year, Liu earned a spot in the U.S. Women's Open through this qualifying site. This year, she shared medalist honors at 5-under-par 144 after surviving a 3-for-2 playoff a year ago before tying for 33rd at Pebble Beach. All six of Liu's wins as a professional have come on the Epson Tour; she was that circuit's Player of the Year honors in 2018 when she claimed three titles, including the Epson Tour Championship. While born in the People's Republic of China, her family moved to Florida at the age of 13 so she could attend the Annika Academy and develop her burgeoning golf talent. She turned professional in 2017. In 2014, she won a Suncoast Ladies Tour event as an amateur. In 2023, she represented China in the International Crown contested at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco.
