The former Stanford University standout will play in her third U.S. Women's Open after earning first-alternate status from the Naples, Fla., qualifier. Krauter was involved in a 7-for-1 playoff for the final spot after shooting 7-under 137, then was added to the field a day after the competition. Krauter turned professional in 2022 after helping the Cardinal win the NCAA title. She has competed both on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour, where she collected her lone professional victory to date: the 2023 Hero Women's Indian Open. Krauter won the 2020 British Women's Amateur, which earned her a spot in the 2021 U.S. Women's Open at The Olympic Club, just up the road from the Stanford campus. She also claimed the 2016 German Girls Open. Krauter was the recipient of the 2022 WGCA Dinah Shore Trophy, which recognizes the top female collegiate golfer who excels both in academics and athletics.
