Hsu will make her ninth U.S. Women's Open start, thanks to being the medalist at Lost Tree Club, posting a 36-hole total of 2-under 142 at the North Palm Beach, Fla., course. Hsu tied for fifth in 2018 at Shoal Creek. She owns six professional victories, including the 2021 Pure Silk Championship on the LPGA Tour. She also posted a pair of Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) victories, one in 2013 and the other a year later. Her other three titles came on the Taiwan LPGA Tour. Hsu also represented her country in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo that were played a year later due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2018, she represented Chinese Taipei in the International Crown.
