Bio

Lu will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after earning medalist honors in the San Jacinto, Calif., qualifier held at Soboba Springs Golf Club. She posted a 4-under-par 140 over 36 holes. Lu is in her second season on the Epson Tour. As a rookie in 2023, she made eight of 13 cuts that included a tie for fourth in the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. Lu played three seasons at the University of Oregon, earning second-team All-America honors as a sophomore in 2021-22 when she captured the Pacific-12 Conference individual title and helped the Ducks to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championships held in Scottsdale, Ariz. She joined Caroline Inglis (2015) as the only Oregon women's golfers to win the Pac-12 title. She also was a member of the International side in the 2022 Palmer Cup.
