Bio

Kimura will play in her first U.S. Women's Open after surviving a 2-for-1 playoff for the final spot at Boso Country Club in Japan. She edged out amateur Hibiki Iriya in the playoff that was extended into Tuesday morning. She owns one career victory on the LPGA Tour of Japan, capturing the 2022 Earth Mondahim Cup. She also has five runner-up finishes, the last coming in the 2023 Itoen Ladies Golf Tournament.
