Bio

Zalsman became the second 15-year-old to qualify for this year's U.S. Women's Open Presented by Ally, joining Northern Californian and U.S. National Junior Team member Asterisk Talley. The St. Petersburg, Fla., resident posted a 36-hole total of 1-under-par 141 at the Bradenton (Fla.) Country Club qualifier to earn medalist honors. Just prior to the qualifier she won the American Junior Golf Association's Junior Championship Presented by Visit Tallahassee. She also finished fourth in the 2023 Dixie Women's Amateur and fourth in this year's South-Atlantic Ladies Amateur (The Sally). She advanced to match play in last year's U.S. Girls' Junior. She also produced three other big wins in 2023, including the Arnold Palmer Invitational Junior.
