In 2012, she made the cut in the West Penn Open, becoming at the time the only female to achieve the feat. As an amateur, she was a two-time All-Big 10 performer at Ohio State University. She has also served as an assistant women's golf coach at Waynesburg (Pa.) University. She and husband, Ethan Virgili, have a 5-year-old daughter named Gemelia, and a 7-month-old son named Greenlee. She is a graduate of Waynesburg Central High. Rohanna's husband caddied for her at the qualifier.
