The 13-time winner on the Japan LPGA Tour will be making her second U.S. Women's Open start after winning the 2023 Toto Classic in her home country. The event was co-sanctioned by the LPGA Tour and LPGA Tour of Japan. Inami was the silver medalist in the rescheduled 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. She defeated Lydia Ko in a playoff for the silver medal; Nelly Korda took home gold. That same year, Inami registered eight victories on the JLPGA. The 2024 LPGA Tour rookie is named for French painter Claude Monet.
