Bio

Lewis returns to the U.S. Women's Open after a nine-year absence after getting into the field as the first alternate from the Winchester (Mass.) Country Club qualifier. She originally lost a 2-for-1 playoff for the last spot. Born in Jacksonville, Fla., Lewis spent one semester at the University of Florida before deciding to turn professional in 2010. After turning pro, she won a mini-tour event on the Suncoast Series Professional Tour in Florida. She has competed on many of the cicruits, including the LPGA, Epson and Ladies European Tour. In 2009, Lewis captured the North & South Women's Amateur at Pinehurst.
